  • Yes, for any of our regular grooming packages you definitely DO need an appointment.

    However, we also offer a variety of Walk-in services as well, and these can all be done WITHOUT an appointment.

  • This will vary from pet to pet, but we typically recommend every 6-8 weeks.

    Your Groomer will be happy to recommend a grooming schedule for your pet after their first visit to our shop. Once we get to know them, and determine what their needs are based on their personality, breed and coat type, we can easily assess and give you our recommendation on what the best grooming schedule for them is.

  • We’re pet parents too, so we know what it is like having to leave behind a loved one in someone else’s care. We get it and we’ve got you covered.

    It’s true that grooming is typically a lot easier on pets (and groomers) without pet parents present. This is mainly because pets are excited and wiggly when they see you, and groomers tend to get distracted by you.

    For us, that’s just not good enough.

    It’s so important to us that we’re transparent with you, and that you know exactly what goes on when your pet is in our care. That’s why we made sure to always have an open door policy, and why we chose to have an open concept salon with big bright windows.

    If you want to stay during your pets groom, we certainly aren’t going to lock you out. If you have questions about anything we want you to ask us. If you feel uneasy about something, we want you to tell us.

    And we want you to know that if we have any concerns, or make any observations while your pet is with us, we’ll be sure to let you know right away and offer whatever advice or recommendations we can.

  • This largely depends on the size of your pet, the condition of their coat and the type of grooming they’re having done.

    Most small dog and cat grooms are completed within 1 hour.

    Your groomer will be able to give you more of an exact timeframe when you drop your pet off.

  • DOGS

    Ideally no.

    All of our grooms are completed one-on-one which typically means a much quieter, calmer environment where dogs feel comfortable and confident to have free roam of our salon while they wait to be picked up.

    If your dog feels more comfortable in a crate we do have a quiet crated area where they are welcome to wait as well.

    CATS

    Cats are 100% expected to be in a carrier. This is for safety and for most cats their own comfort.

  • Yes!

    With over 20+ years in the Grooming industry, we've pretty much seen it all. 

    We understand that every pet is different, and that some may be more challenging than others.

    We’re willing to work with your pets and alter our handling/training skills as needed.

    Whether your pet needs sedation (we recommended you speak with your Veterinarian prior to your pet’s grooming appointment), a muzzle or an extra set of hands to help support, we can help you with that.

    Informing us of behavioural issues and being transparent with us is essential so that we can approach your pet the right way, schedule accordingly, and put everyone’s safety and comfort first.

  • As the life stages of pets change, so do their requirements and needs.

    In some instances senior pets may be starting to lose their vision or hearing, some may suffer from seizures, and others may be taking medications to help manage other ailments.

    This doesn’t mean your pet can’t be groomed ever again, but the process and the way we preform their groom can and should be altered.

    Please be very transparent with us when booking in your senior pets so that we can approach their grooming services in a way that is best suited to their needs and everyone’s safety.

    In home grooming for senior pets can be arranged by appointment only. Krystle will drive to you to save the extra burden on your pet. Travel costs will be determined based on location, and charged accordingly.
